Written Work
Professional English Language Learners - CCHE 620
Professional English Language Learners, PE2L, is a student service program I theorized to assist Allied Health students at San Diego Mesa College in attaining their career while improving their communication skills, a necessary component of all health care employees. This paper represents the diversity present in all campuses and communities which is highly sought after in Allied Health fields while representing scholarly work and my passion for effective communication.
Empathy is the foundation of the program. Realizing the challenges students and professionals encounter when writing and speaking to others in healthcare fields necessitates the instruction of proper industry language. PE2L offers an opportunity to learn English relevant to employment while promoting the field of physical therapy and the profession of PTA while diversifying the industry to match community demographics.

Leadership Style and Action Plan - CCHE 600
This written work describes the assessment of my leadership style based on the book Leadership Theory and Style by P.G. Northouse. It includes a blend of styles reflecting my experience as a student, clinician, administrator, mentor, and leader.
I wrote this paper mid-way though my master's program. After reflecting on the writing, I realize the benefit of maintaining a leadership style and plan and periodically reviewing and updating that plan. It is an important step in my career and reflects my desire to lead in the higher education, specifically the physical therapist assistant program, using a blend of transformational, servant, and adaptive leadership styles.

The reflection paper for CCHE 687, Professional Development Seminar, describes the benefits of assessment that will be performed in the job I with to obtain, Program Director of a Physical Therapist Assistant Program. I discuss the process as necessary to improve our courses and program by ensuring student learning is occurring and faculty are involved. This is also a piece which reflects my desire to lead with transformational, servant, and adaptive leadership styles mentioned in the previous written work demonstrating my ability to blend knowledge gained throughout my master's program.
